Money laundering prevention and identity verification
This page explains how the portal prevents misuse of its payout function. The English version is the only binding version.
1. Principle
Payouts are made only to members whose identity has been verified. There is no exception. Until the verification is complete a balance may grow but cannot leave the portal.
2. When verification is required
The identity check is required before the first payout. It is not required for registration, for taking part in quizzes or for taking part in tournaments.
3. What is checked
- full legal name and date of birth
- residential address
- an official photo identity document, front and where applicable back
- optionally a photo of the member holding the document
The details must match the account and the payout account.
4. Payout account
Payouts are made only to an account held by the verified member personally. Payouts to accounts in another name are refused. Changing the payout account requires a new check.
5. Storage and access
Documents are stored outside the publicly reachable directory and are re-encoded on upload. Only reviewers with the corresponding permission can open them. Every access is recorded.
6. Review and refusal
The operator may refuse or hold a payout where:
- the details do not match the account
- the document is unreadable, expired or manipulated
- there is a suspicion of a shared or transferred account
- rewards were obtained through automated participation
- a legal obligation requires it
7. Risk review
Unusual activity increases an internal risk score. Above a threshold payouts are held for manual review. A member is informed and can contact support. No payout is refused by an automated decision alone.
8. Records
Identity records, payment records and ledger entries are kept for the statutory retention period. They are not used for advertising and are not passed on except where the law requires it.
9. Cooperation with authorities
Where the law requires it, the operator reports suspicious activity to the competent authority and provides the information requested.
